Claremont Manor is home to a vibrant community of artists, including authors, painters, and musicians. Larry Allen is an accomplished wood carver. Wilbur Herd’s organ virtuosity regularly captivates his audiences. And Anne Davenport is well known for her watercolors. Our garden-filled campus is not only a source of inspiration for these creative expressions, but it also allows resident artists to display their work to the world. Our artists regularly exhibit at Claremont Manor and the Joslyn Senior Center, along with local artisans, are very supportive of their work.

At our Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad, we not only exhibit the artwork of our residents, we also celebrate those remarkable artists who’ve created them. The Front Porch Gallery also partners with community arts organizations to create an understanding of aging through art.
