Total wellness. It’s what ensures you get the most out of everything carefree retirement living can offer. And it’s something we’re committed to support with
a balanced program of outdoor activities, daily exercise classes, massage therapy and educational support.
When Cal and Billie Sanford moved to Claremont Manor, one of their top goals was to stay physically fit. Enter Resident Services Director Rachelle Morris,
who holds degrees in physical education and kinesiology. Rachelle designed a custom fitness program that included fitness machines in the Claremont
Manor Fitness Center as well as aqua aerobics classes. Billie has even given the biweekly drumming circle a try. Both are enjoying increased mobility,
coordination and concentration.
And when it comes to stimulating your mind, Claremont Manor is surrounded by possibilities. Visiting professors from the Claremont Colleges as well as
our own residents lecture regularly on topics such as American history, current events, literature and even quantum physics. And if you are interested in a
subject you don’t find on our campus, there are hundreds of classes you can audit on nearby college campuses, all of them just a short stroll away.
Claremont Manor makes sure you stay sharp with our Dakim BrainFitness System. Combining fun and enjoyable yet rigorous cognitive exercises with the
latest touch screen technology, the BrainFitness System is the perfect tool to help maintain brain health and mental acuity. BrainFitness is designed for use
by virtually all seniors, from those with the sharpest minds to seniors who have mild cognitive impairment, those at risk for Alzheimer’s disease, and even
